Keyword Analysis With Keyword Elite
A question was brought to me about using Keyword Elite from a Gentleman / Friend / Customer of Video Guide To Profits via my Search Engine Optimization Forum asking why he was getting weird results that Keyword Elite was giving him were different to those he would get from using Google Search engine.
So I figured I’d answer the Keyword Elite weird results problem on my forum and create a video. I intentionally wanted to create a 10 minute video so I could upload this to YouTube and other various Video Sites so I could help out others who maybe facing the same problems. Unfortunately, I over deliver (not that’s a bad thing), and it came out a little over 30 minutes worth of explanations and I dive further into Offpage SEO Analysis of your competition for the keyword phrases they are ranking highly for.
You’ll learn how many pages out there are really your true competition, how to spot if your competition know what they are doing and use what I illustrate in the Keyword Analysis with Keyword Elite to outrank them, and or find keywords with Keyword Elite that are easy to rank for, AND which ones you should focus on if you want to place Google Adsense on your website.
I hope you enjoy the Video, if so, I’d really appreciate it if you gave the post a vote (Digg) which only takes a few moments.

Got something to say?

Hi Loz
Great video. Quite a lot to take in. I learned more in half an hour than I have learned elsewhere AND I understood it first time!! (A first..believe me!!)

You’re welcome John

Hi Loz, great video, tutorial that you have created, and as always, you over deliver, which in my book is a good thing anyways… So I wanted to say thank you so much for helping the little people like me, that are starting in the business, because good information is hard to find, and the information provided here has given me a broader understanding of how to take a look at the real competition, bad thing for me that I learned here is that I did my optimization wrong, and that is why I am not found anywhere near the first page in search engines, but the good thing is, that now I know how to fix the problem… Lots of work to do, thanks for the task and knowledge, for I believe in knowledge, and that knowledge is power…

Awsome video
There’s a saying you don’t do it right do it at all. That’s the problem today with too much content rehashed today without how to use the tool properly. A main reason why my sites have been struggling.
I hope you keep more videos coming with the tools you use!
Very helpful.
Questions:
1) You mentioned that a KEI of 10 + is good. What about R/S - what figure do you recommend here?
2) If I set Project 2 to include ALL the criteria - ie Title Results, Anchor Results, Text Results etc, would that filter out ALL sites except those that fit ALL those criteria. What settings do you recommend?
Hey Genny,
I think I mention that in the video
Both questions
RSI is the opposite, lower it is, the better / easier it is to rank for.
HOWEVER, it doesn’t mean it’s a profitable keyword…
If the RS is high and the KEI is low, it means it’s a profitable keyword, but harder to rank for.
in regards to your other question, no only one of those need to be checked off, or it will skew the results, it must be done one at a time.
All the best
Loz
Hi Loz
Thanks. I’m sure that you DON’T mention a good figure for R/S - you just say “very low” - I’ve watched that video quite a few times (maybe it’s somewhere else in the video). The problem is - how long is a piece of string? Not to worry - I’ll just plod along.
Thanks for the info about the Project 2 settings - I’m a little mad at myself - been setting it for EVERY criteria - all at once. Again, not to worry - they say that you learn & benefit from EVERY failure/booboo/clanger etc. Well … it’s good to have a sense of humor.
Thanks again
Genny
