SEO Efforts, More Content Or More Inbound Links?

What should I put more efforts on when doing SEO: More on content or more on inbound links?

Another great question from Yaron who previously asked a question regarding Manual SEO Compared to Automatic SEO . Thank you Yaron. Keep the questions coming. :)

In all honesty more content and more inbound links work hand in hand together, it’s like a perfect marriage so to speak. Sure it’s possible to still rank for pages without any backlinks providing the onpage linking structures are perfect. Breaking the elements up by just focusing one thing isn’t going to do one well in the long run, well, you’ll get traffic, but not all the traffic you will want to hope for.

What I tend to do is simply focus on creating good content for each of my pages, one at a time. After I’ve uploaded the page with all the SEO factors on the page I start fetching links from various sources like:

Article Directories
Link Directories
Other People’s Blogs
Create articles On Free Blogs
Yahoo Group Lists
Google Group Lists
Build RSS Feeds
Submit RSS Feeds to Directories
Blog Directories
Social Bookmarking
Video Submissions
Free Classified Ad Networks
Forums
Just to name some.

Software such as SEO Elite v4 is a great tool too that will allow you to find even more backlinks and worth checking out.

When people join my pre-launch waiting list for SEO Website Builder Pro, and tell a few friends they will receive an E-book on SEO.     Hi Loz,

    Many thanks for the answers - sure helps…

    Search engines like more and more content, what is the right way of content feeding? Is it for example feeding 1 page a day, 1 page a week or maybe a bulk of 50 pages at once….?

    Do search engines track how much content you feed each time and feeding how often you make a feed?
